I have a date, and I'm a little excited

I went today for pre op visit, I have a date!!!! April 1st!!!! I'm so so so excited!!!! I feel like a kid at Christmas time!!! Anyway I have to start my diet tomorrow, not looking forward to shakes, but whatever it takes!!! I tried to get my insurance to pay for the RNY back in 2001. The insurance I had then wouldn't budge, now I have really good insurance and was approved in less than a month. My letter was sent in the 4th or 5th and I was approved on the 13th. I'm so so so so very excited, if I haven't mentioned that already!!!!

Congratulations. Isn't it exciting? We can be two peas in a pod. My surgery is the same day, April 1st. Except Dr. Baker is my doctor. I too am having RNY. I started my shakes today. Not too bad. But I know I will be so tired of them by the time this two weeks is over. Where are you having your surgery done? Mine will be at St. Vincents. Maybe we can make this journey together. Again congratulations and good luck.
