Whatcha Eating - Saturday Edition

Okay, it's getting late.  I'm worried about Karen since she hasn't posted our thread.  Karen are you okay?   I'll go ahead and fess up to what I had today.   10 ounce protein drink SOLID MEAL 1 - pintos & cheese 16.9 ounces water SOLID MEAL 2 - 1 breaded & fried catfish fillet + 1 bite rare sirlion steak 20 ounce protein drink SOLID MEAL 3 - 4 apple slices + 2 tbsp peanut butter 10 ounces protein drink I'm disappointed with my fluid intake today.  It's just a little above 44 ounces (because I only count about 8 ounces of the 20 ounce gladiator protein shake as "fluid" - since it has bananas & protein powder mixed in I really don't know how much is actually FLUID and how much is SOLIDS blended into FLUID).  So anyway, if I only count 8 ounces of the 20 ounce gladiator protein smoothie as fluid, I'm only at about 44 ounces of fluid for the day.  Not good.  But if I load up now, I'll be peeing for the next hour and I want to go to sleep.  So today, I'm just going to have to be disappointed in myself because I can't drink anymore today.

Miss Wendy, you are too hard on yourself!!!!  No, 44 oz isn't 64, but it's still not bad. Please don't be disappointed in yourself, you do so well every other day, don't let one day get you down. How did the fish go down?  Any problems with it being fried? I know you're so careful with your fat, I hope it didn't upset your pouch. Karen was going away to a friends house this weekend, so I'm sure she's alright. Here's my Saturday..... wake up:      whole milk latte Bkfst:      leftover crock pot chicken Way to work:   whole milk latte Snack:      muscle milk Lunch:      Lean Cuisine Chicken Enchilada Suiza Snack:      almonds Dinner:      roasted chicken and some sesame noodles Snack:      1/2 apple and 6 wheat thins Hope everyone had a great day!

Hi!   There were no problems with it being fried.  When I was a little earlier out, I've had fried catfish and/or fried porkchops (probably a total of 3 times in the last 8 months).  It didn't upset my pouch at all.  I'm just not used to eating that way anymore, so it was just sort of odd tasting.  I wouldn't go so far as to call it GROSS, but it wasn't GOOD the way something grilled would have been.  The bite of rare steak was 10x better than the fried catfish.

Isn't it great how our tastes change?  I was going to go to KFC for a piece of their original chicken, but when I got there I decided I just couldn't do it. All I could think about was the grease it would leave on my fingers and face. Then I started getting kind of queasy thinking about it and drove out.  Guess where I ended up??? Taco Bell, where else....for pintos and cheese. Hope you've had a good weekend. Sorry Monday comes so early!
