Newbie Here LOL

Hi Everyone, My name is Janoice it is pronounced as spelled Ja-no-ice.  I have not had my surgery yet just finished all my requirements now waiting to here from Christy again from Dr Bakers office. Excited, nervice, and more LOL. I was leaning toward the lap band but thinking now I want this surgery.  I am in a wheelchair not able to walk much at all.  None at all without support of some kind.  I want more than anything to be able to get rid of that chair and live my life again. I am married, no children.  Been married for a little over 31 years. Well can't think of anything else to say, but if you have any questions about me just ask. Thank you, Janoice

Welcome to the site. I also am waiting to hear from Christy for an appointment. LoL.. Hopefully I will hear something Monday. I am going to do the LapBand. Had intitally wanted the gastric but changed my mind since the lapband is less invasive, etc...Anyways, Welcome and Good Luck on your journey... Best Wishes... Tina

Hi Janoice, welcome to OH.  Dr. Baker is a very good surgeon, I had open RNY August 15th last year.  I have lost almost 150lbs.  I notice below your name you have Dr. Balder listed, did you mean to put Dr. Baker?  I look forward to hearing more from you. 

Wow thanks for the welcome everyone.  I am still confused on which surgery to have LOL.  Hopefully Dr. Baker can help me decide. OMG I never notice that I spelled Dr Bakers name wrong how can I change that or can I?  Any help would be appreciated. Huggers, Janoice
