help info on psych

ok i had my psych appointment set up for tomorrow and they called and told me that medicare won't pay for it because it's an elective decision it's not necessary. Crap Crap Crap, now what do I do? it cost 235.00 for one appointment and i don't have that money, anyone else had this problem and what did they do?

Find a different Dr to get it from.  If you PM me, I'll give you my info and where I went, (and continue to go) on medicare.  Don't let this get you down.  Keep pressing on....!!

I called Medicare yesterday and they told me that Yes they do pay for the psych eval. So, I called the doctors office back today and they are trying to fighure things out and call me back.  well I have everything done now except for the evaluation. So, I am wondering how much longer it will be to get an appointment to meet with Dr. Baker..                                                 Thank you all for helping me... Tina
