Support Group Meeting

I've just had SUCH a busy couple of days - literally so busy that I am exhausted.  It's been that way since Friday.  It was the worst yesterday and today.   Not only that, yesterday I had pain very low in my stomach and in one side of my back.  The pain in my back made me think kidney infection, but the pain in my stomach felt more like female trouble or gas/bowel trouble.  However, I had symptoms (other than pain) for NONE of these things except maybe a little female trouble.  So that was also to be contended with on my Sunday.   Then today was non-stop at work for about 10 or 11 hours.  I'm exhausted.  I have so much that needs to be done to my house that I could just break down and cry.  Work is the same way right now.   The really bad thing is that taking a day off won't help.  The work would just pile up at my job and leave me even worse off when I came back.  I also wouldn't have time to rest because of all that needs to be done at home that have nothing to do with work.   My husband is still working in LR and I don't know how much longer I can handle his schedule the way it is.   It will probably get better soon.

I've never asked, but what do you do?  It stinks when things are so bad that taking time off to rest, so you can recharge the batteries, only makes things worse. Every now and then during my 30+ years in hairdressing, I will get a "real job" and do the 9-5 thing. For about 5 years I was a Medicare biller at a major hospital in San Diego.  It's one of those jobs where there is a snow balls chance that your desk will EVER be cleared off with nothing to do. Endless, non stop paper.  Couldn't stand it, would have needed mental health professionals if I stayed there one more day. Sometime just bitting the bullet and getting in a cleaning lady at home is worth it's weight in gold. Just to have SOME place that is a haven. When we see you Thursday we'll do a group hug.  Until then, take care. Maybe I'll try to call you later this A.M.....I don't go to wor****il noon, but will be there until 8:00.

I've deliberately never told anyone on here what I do.   But I don't mind telling you.  I trust you not to freak out or anything.   I'll PM you when you get home tonight!

Denise, Cafeteria is on the ground floor, get on elevators in the lobby, go downstairs to Ground, and you will turn left and go straight into it.  Hope that helps, if we come, we will prolly be early. Hugs,  Rhonda

Hello everyone, I will be attending the meeting, looking forward to meeting those that I have not met.

When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism.

Update: My son reminded me this morning that he has a band concert tomorrow night.   So this will be the first support group meeting ever (since I started attending as a pre-op) that I will have to miss.  (And you all WILL be missed.) See y'all next month though!
