Breakfast- bacon and egg Lunch- cheez-its and peanuts--I was on the road so it was junky but its ok!! Dinner- chicken wing and macaroni and cheese Ok, overall this was not my healthiest eating day but I guess it could have been worse. Compared to what I ate before surgery, this is VERY good! Let us know how you did!

Well guys, today was not good for me eating wise either, but Im trying.  I am keeping a bad headache from whatever is wrong w/me. Breakfast-2 cups coffee Next-1 ham and cheese biscuit Lunch-apple slices Dinner-Homeade vegetable beef soup 40 oz crystal light 2 more cups coffee 20 oz ice water vitamins and calcium Not the best, but I have spent most of the day in bed, so I have eaten when Mike said hey, you need to eat.  I'll do better as I feel better. Hope everyone else has had a better day.  My 2008 really needs to improve. Hugs, Rhonda D.

HI Karen, Yep, your day might not have been great, but it could have been a whole lot worse, and certainly is better than ever before. Still having some issues, but at least I'm able to eat a little better, so I'm trying to get calories in . Wake up:  lactaid latte Bkfst;   leftover chicken noodle soup, mostly chicken and noodles Snack:  Muscle milk Lunch:    leftover enchiladas Snack:      mashed potatoes Dinner:   Went out to dinner to Cafe Bosa Nova that Brazilian restaurant in Hillcrest. They have the most unusual food that is so very tasty. I had this dish (sorry, can't remember the name of it and couldn't spell it if I could) that was shredded chicken made into a salad with mayo, shredded apples, nuts and peas, and it was served over rice. Sounds strange, but boy oh boy was it good. There was a side of yellow and green squash, which I wouldn't normally care for, but, again, so very tasty.  Best part of this surgery and this meal....I get to have more for lunch and dinner! Snack:   cheese and wheat thins late snack:  no sugar added klondike bar
