What'cha eating Tuesday edition
I'd like some cheese with my whine, please!
I didn't have to do a bowel cleanse before my surgery, Dr Gibbs doesn't require it, but now I have to have the dreaded "test" on Thursday, so clear liquids it is for me for the next two days.
So, here's my day. God love all you pre-ops out there that are doing the liquid diet....you deserve a huge pat on the back!
Bkfst: Tea
Snack: Water
Lunch: Nasty green jello
Snack: Chicken broth
Dinner: More nasty green jello
Later, more of the same.
I actually COOKED salsa chicken and beans for Gary. There'd better be a load of leftovers in the fridge when I get home Thursday afternoon!!!!!
Susan
Goodness Susan.....what are we gonna do with you? And to think that you cooked a meal and was not able to eat it.....kind of makes me hate to have to post what I had today, but here it is....
Breakfast- scrambled egg
Snack- almonds Lunch- 1/4 of a Lean Cuisine Flat Bread sandwich....they are FANTASTIC by the way!! Snack- grapes (about 6) Dinner- turkey and field peas Had a pretty good day. Found that I drank more water than usual today but I was moving a lot so I guess I needed it! Hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday! Take care!! Karen
I haven't been eating well the last few days...I've had a sinus infection plus both of my kids have been sick. I've not made bad choices, just no choices at all! But today was better...actually freaking out a little because I came close to 1200 calories! I know, I know...now that I'm almost to goal I HAVE to raise my calorie intake, but its HARD to see that number when you've been seeing 800-900 calories for so long. Here's my day:
BEFORE BREAKFAST: banana
BREAKFAST: 1 packet weight control oatmeal w/ 1tsp. fibersure
LUNCH: ham sandwich...1 slice whole grain bread, 1 hamsteak, tsp. light mayo
SNACK: 1 cup protein pudding
DINNER: 4oz. chicken breast, 1 small corn on cob, less than 1/4 cup mashed taters
SNACK: protein bar
BEFORE BED: 8 oz. calorie countdown chocolate milk
I also had 10 M&M's throughout the day...I know I know....but hey, the whole point of having this surgery is to be able to live a normal life, right? Who goes through life without a few M&M's occasionally? And I did track it on fit day! Plus, before surgery, I would have eaten the whole bag!
