Well, today has not been good for me, but I'll post anyway.  Im so sick I cant hold my head up so here goes a day from the sickly chickly. Breakfast 20 oz coffee w/splenda and creamer Snack SF Fudgescicle Lunch 3 Tbsp mac/cheese Snack SF Fudgescicle Snack SF Popscicle Dinner will be some chicken soup Add to all that some tea and cough syrup and a pain pill and some prednisone and an antibiotic and that pretty much sums up my day. Im not laughing Wen, Im jealous actually, my throat is so sore, I can only dream of the day when this one horse town gets a Taco Bell, so I can live on pintos and cheese.  Every time I pass a TB, I get an order w/no hot sauce and extra cheese.  Sounds like it would be heavenly right now on my poor pitiful throat.  This D*** flu like **** is killing me today.  Was fine Thursday night, and yesterday fever spiked and I been feverish and coughing every since, so Im not worried so much about food as feeling better. Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'll holler back in a day or 2 when I feel like posting.  Was sitting here doing an updraft and thought Id post.   Hugs, Im back to bed, Rhonda

OMG I SOOOOOO know what you are talking about with the sore throat sickness.   I put up with it for about 5 days before breaking down, calling in sick to work, going to the DR and getting on an antibiotic.  (By that time, it wasn't just a sore throat every morning and night - it was pressure in my chest and coughing up green balls of phlem!  TMI SORRY!) However, after being on antibiotics for 2 days, I started feeling better.  (Thank god.)  DR said that the cough that comes with this though tends to stick around for up to (get ready) THREE WEEKS!  I said, "you have got to be f'in kiddin me?!?!?" and he was like "no".  However, even though he said that, my cough has not been THAT bad.  As a matter of fact, it's been pretty good.  So hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have a cough for 3 weeks.   I'll be hoping you have a better time of it than I did!  I was almost to the point of feeling like I was dying when I went to the DR.   (The pintos & cheese thing was because everyone was sort of laughing at me at the meeting because I do eat them a LOT.  But I'm on the road a lot and they're something quick & easy that I know I like.  I'll stay in a rut for a little while if I'm happy there.  LOL)

Karen, thanks so much for keeping this going!!  My computer monitor died and Gary has a new computer that has "cookies" enabled so I couldn't get onto OH.  Doesn't he realize I need my OH fix???? Well anyway, Worker Man ( insert many, many bad words here) is still dragging his feet to finish the work around here, so my house, kitchen and life are torn up. Add to that the problem I'm still having with my gut and work being crazy, food just hasn't been a priority for me. Yep, I've lost more weight...down to 122 now and very worried. Two days of liquids only before the colonoscopy on Thursday, so I bet I'll be down to 120 by the end of this. Saturday Bkfst:   grilled cheese sandwich Lunch:   WW three bean chili w/ 10 tortilla chips Dinner:    Roasted chicken, baked beans, german potato salad Snacks:   activia yogurt, almonds, Smart pop popcorn Hope everyone's weekend ends up better than mine. Worker man is supposed to finish today, but I think there will be a "shoot out at the OK corral' when he gets here.
