Surgery Monday!!

I am not rescheduling!  I am getting my RNY on Monday afterall!!

Tommie,  I cannot tell you how excited I am that you are still having surgery!!!!  Please private message me or send me a reply as to how you will be listed at the hospital, I will be there Tuesday if all goes well to see another patient that is having surgery Monday.  I'd love to come visit you as well.  In my opinion, you have the best surgeon who will be there for you the rest of your journey, and will take the best of care of you.  Baker did mine a year ago, and trust me, Id want him to dig out an ingrown tonail if I had to have it removed.   Good luck, Im proud you did not have to reschedule.  Please know we are here for you, good days, bad days and all days in between!!!! I suppose that I will be listed as Tommie Spivey....lol.  Is Dr. Baker doing your friend's surgery??  There is another person right behind me on the books that morning.  Might be her.....maybe I will share a room with her.   ???

Hey Tommie,  Her name is Christi Ault, sweet person, I think hers is second case, b/c she has to be there at 11:30.  If you get her for a room mate, you will prolly laugh alot, although I have never been around her when in pain, hee hee.   Not sure now if I will make it, Im really really sick, and dont want to spread any germs or get any more in my system.. So if Im not there, know that I am thinking of you, praying for you and keeping your spot shined on the losers bench.   It will be great to have another loser!!!! EXCELLENT!!!  Be sure and post here as soon as you are able.  We will be waiting to hear how it went.   You were smart to get started on this message board before surgery.  I didn't and after surgery I felt very bewildered and alone.   You'll never reget the surgery.  I am more grateful everyday.

Yay I am so excited to hear your good news!!  Just remember, as soon as they let you get up and walk, do it as much as you can handle.  I walked all the time, and I felt great!  I never had any gas problems and my pain was not as bad as I thought it would be.  I am sure the morphine had a lot to do with that, haha. You will be so happy to start a new healthier life!
