HEART PALPITATIONS

HELLO ALL, WELL I MADE IT THUR SURGERY ON THE 11TH. AND IM DOING WELL.  EXCEPT FOR ONE THING I HAVE NOTICED.  I WAS ON THE 2 WEEK LIQUIED DIET FOR THE LAP BAND SURGERY AND SINCE THEN AND EVEN  AFTER SURGERY I HAVE HAD SOME FEELING IN THE CENTER OF MY CHEST AREA THAT RESEMBLES A HEART PALPITATION .  IT IS SPORADIC AND I DONT KNOW WHY ITS HAPPENING.  MY PULSE SEEMS OK.   HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM .   I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING IT.  THANK YOU.  BRENDA

This is a question you should be asking health professionals.....like Dr Gibbs or Carey.  Call their office first thing this morning.

Hey Brenda! I didn't have anything like that after my surgery so I'm sorry to say that I don't have any advice that I can offer you. Maybe it would be best to call the doctor's office and see if they can give you an answer. Good luck and take care of yourself!!   Karen

I didn't experience that either.  Sorry. Maybe it's anxiety? I'd check with the doctor just to be safe. Hope you feel better soon!!

 A lot of people (including myself) experienced pain/pressure in the chest after eating/drinking.  If that's what it is, it will go away.   if it's a true palpatation, call Dr Gibbs.  Eliza
