Been up since 4:00 so decided to go ahead and plan my menu for the day. Hope everyone has a great Friday......bring on the weekend!!!!
early rise and shine; 2% SF latte
Bkfst Steel cut oatmeal with craisins
Snack: Protein drink
driving down the road: Whole milk latte
Lunch: Impossible quiche, 1/2 apple
Snack: ???? will edit later
Dinner: Curried chicken w/ brown rice
Snack: ????? will edit later
Calories so far: 1049 Fat: 25 Carbs: 129 Protein: 82
Will have to get some serious snacking in to get the calories up
Edit: Add Activia yogurt with flax seeds and Kashi go lite crunch
New totals....Cals: 1193 Fat: 30 Carb: 142 Pro: 94

So far today all I have had is 2 EAS shakes, 220 calories total and 34 grams protein total, I have been way busy talking at work today, lol. I am going to eat a south Beach Diet pizza for lunch, 330 calories and 30 grams protein. So that would be 520 calories and 64 grams of protein. Then I have some mucsle milk pudding for a snack this afternoon, 160 calories and 20 grams of protein, so then I would be at 680 and 84 grams of protein. Dinner I will probably do some baked orange roughie! yummy!
We will see how the day goes though!

What does your Nut/doc say about your calorie intake this close to goal? This is the time that I started to increase my calories to at least 1000 a day. Scary, I know, but eventually you have to start eating more.
How is that muscle milk pudding? I've seen it at Drug Emporium but have been scared to try it. You know how that is with protein. It's either good or awful, not much in between.

My doc is happy with my progress and as long as my stats are ok on labs he is thrilled. I have not seen a nut since the beginning, I have a binder my doc has given me and the rest I learn on my own or at support group, which I will say sucks! Cause our docs never come and the nurse is very unorganized. I am happy because I was just around 500 to 600 at Thanksgiving. The muscle milk pudding is very good, I like it, it is a little thick but a load of protein. I get it at Vitamin World and use my 40% off discount.

BREAKFAST: Strawberry Yogurt (4oz)
LUNCH: 1 Rolled up turkey deli meat, mild cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup Cheddar Broccoli Rice
DINNER: Baked Stuffed Tilapia from Capt D's (ate a little of it, that thing was huge), Some Veggies and Some Cole Slaw
SNACK: A few Cheese Rice Crisps
PROTEIN PM: 10oz Protein Shake (may try the new one I bought at Wal Mart instead of the Cookies N Cream)

My whole day was messed up today because I ate breakfast 1st instead of drinking 1st. Now my fluids are too low and my calories are too high for this time of day. I think I give up trying to eat breakfast 1st thing in the morning. I am just going to eat breakfast FOOD for another meal if I want to and just HOPE I can ALWAYS NOT eat "breakfast" and be okay. (Scared of this because that dreaded hunger may come back one day.) But I don't know what else to do. Here it goes.
Breakfast - egg & sour dough toast
Snack - 1/2 protein drink
Snack - 2 sugar free fudge popsicles
LATE lunch (just a few minutes ago) - chicken chili
now for what I will PROBABLY try to do tonight:
8 ounces water
1/2 protein drink
8 ounces water
2 sugar free popsicles
apple slices
I know. Today was pathetic.
