Gracious afternoon, one and all. Well, our Worker Man who's doing the work around the house didn't show up today. What is it about these guys? Geeze, sure wish I could work the hours they do and get paid. Ok, mini rant over.  So, since the weather stinks I spent the day cleaning out the cupboards and cabinets. For some reason I've always had more energy in the winter than any other time of the year. Feels good to get it done. Man, we sure can save a bunch of worthless junk!!! Here's my day. Being off means I can plan better. Hope you all had a safe and warm Thursday. Hi everyone!! No snow here....JUST COLD!!!  Breakfast- turkey sausage and a little over a 1/4 slice whole wheat toast Snack- 11 almonds---great suggestion Susan!

Lunch- MY USUAL!!--solid white tuna kit....replaced the mayo and relish with LF mayo and dill pickles....replaced the crackers with whole wheat crackers....I guess I'm just a creature of habit but the tuna is such a great source of protein and it sure goes through the band easily!! Plus right now even though it is a soft food, it is still keeping me full and satisfied so that is always a plus!  Dinner- grilled pork chop and great northern beans....maybe a couple of bites of salad! Snack- apple...not sure if I will be able to hold this snack or not. I'm usually not wanting to eat anything after supper but I need to get some fruit in for today! Susan-- your impossible quiche sounds interesting!! What exactly is in it and how do you make it if you don't mind me asking? Also, you asked me if I liked shrimp in an earlier post somewhere....well, to be honest I have never been a fan of seafood of any kind. The only thing that I eat that comes out of water is fish!!   Karen

Karen, your day sounds great.  I'll post the impossible quiche on another thread for everyone to use. Do you like Talipia?  I'll post a recipe for that too.  I'm full of 'em (and "it" too LOL)

Oh, Im getting my b-12 shots every 2 weeks, I think my deal is hormones more than anything (sorry Will)  life will be better soon. Hugs to all, Rhonda D.

BEETS BEETS BEETS BEETS BEETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Yep, love 'em to pieces. Got a big ol' jar of pickled ones in the fridge. Full of potassium, folate and manganese, and fiber.  Have you ever tried Eggbeaters instead of regular scrambled eggs at the restaurant? They taste just like regular eggs but are fat free. We gotta watch those nasty fat grams. Hope you and Mr Mike enjoyed your evening out. Hugs

I forgot to add in my food for the day, so I had 2 protein shakes (Matrix Cookies N Cream, morning was with 15oz water, evening was with 10oz water) For breakfast I had some Farina Wheat Cereal with a spoonful of Sugar Free Preserves, Lunch I had 3 bites of a Banquet TV Dinner (I really prefer those, because the meat is so much easier on my pouch), then I started feeling sick, not because of  the TV Dinner because I have eaten it many times before, but because I think I ate the few bites to quickly, I still sometimes eat a few bites to quickly or not chew enough.  For dinner I made butterfly porkchops, I ate 1/4 of that, cut real tiny, 1/4 cup Cheddar Brocolli Rice and 1/4 cup green beans.  I only ate half the cheddar broccoli rice, ate all the green beans and meat.
