Well, today was ok, still dealing with some stuff, but hey, its life. Before breakfast: 20 oz coffee Breakfast: 2 slices whole grain SF bread, 2 slices Low Fat Cheese  More coffee and more coffee Lunch: chicken leg minus the skin and 12 grapes More coffee and more coffee Supper: frito chili pie w/turkey chili and low fat cheese More coffee and more coffee and through out the day, lots of water and crystal light and protein supplements Not a great day, but at least the protein was better, and I got all my fluids.  Maybe tomorrow will be better, if we ever get to slow down, I'll actually go back to planning my days, but until then, I'll do the best I can. Hugs, Rhonda D.

WHEW!!!!  The Miralax has worked its magic, so there's no blockage (praise the Lord!)  I'm feeling much better today and dropped two pounds...although I do not recommend this method of weight loss.   Susan, I did not now about the bananas...I've been eating one a day for months...guess I'll lay off them for a while and I'm going to avoid cheese for a while too.  I will definitely be looking for flaxseeds, think GNC carries them, or Walgreens? Wednesdays are always hectic for me, but I did pretty good today: B:  1 packet weight control oatmeal L:  crockpot salsa chicken (Thanks Susan, this recipe is dee-lish!) on the road: Slim Fast Low Carb chocolate shake S: 1 bag of protein chips...chili nacho cheese D: 1/4 cup wild rice with 1/4 cup mixed veggies, 1 medium orange S: protein bar Cal:  1006   Fat:  27g   Carbs:  122   Protein:  86

Whew is right!  So glad you doing better, it's such a miserable feeling. GNC should have the flax seeds, but make sure you get the whole seed, not meal, which has already been ground. If you want to add ground seeds to, say, bran muffins, you can grind them in a coffee grinder before adding them to the recipe. Also, they need to be refrigerated because of their fat content.  If you have a health food store, like Wild Oats, they will have them for sure. Otherwise, let me know if you can't get them and I'll mail you some. A pound last a very long time. Your menu for the day looks great, glad you liked the chicken, too hugs

MORNING PROTEIN: Didn't have one BREAKFAST: Did not eat due to not feeling good LUNCH: Farina Wheat Cereal with a spoonful of sugar free preserves SNACK: A few pieces of Beef Jerky DINNER: 1/3 Angus Burger patty with mild cheddar cheese and 3 bites of au gratin potatoes EVENING PROTEIN: I will do this before I go to bed tonight LIQUID: 16.9 oz water, 24 oz water, 16oz tea, 4oz milk mixed with 4oz water and some sugar free choc. syrup I will add another 10-15oz when I do my protein, it depends on whether I use my shaker or a cup to make it. Sadly, yesterday I only ate one meal and drank less than 20oz of liquids, but I spent most of the day asleep in bed due to an impacted BM.
