My honey and I will be there, its his birthday, but he wants to come anyway, says what better birthday present that to be able to see all those pretty shrinking ladies!!! Not sure what time we will get there, will let you know that at a later date. Hugs,  Rhonda D.

Rhonda, I look forward to seeing you guys.  I have a question.  I know that I am not getting my protein in like I should.  I struggle everyday with that.  I am thinking of doing the 42g protein bullets.  My question is can I do the whole bullet at one time or do I need to half it.

There seems to be a big debate on how much protein we can absorb in one sitting...my NUT doesn't have a definitive answer on it but suggests no more than 25-30g in one sitting.  I do the bullets, but only half at a time. So, I would say half it.  Another thing you could try, if you like pudding, is making some protein pudding.  This is what I've been doing lately.  Get some sugar free instant pudding mix, mix it up with fat free milk and one scoop of vanilla protein powder then immediately pour it into a glass or cup and put in the fridge to set up and get cold...doesn't take long.  You could portion it out, depending on how much you can eat in one sitting.  I make one cup and eat 1/2 at a time throughout the day.  Just a suggestion, I know how hard it is sometimes to get that protein. Let me know if I can help in any other way...I've become pretty good at finding alternatives to protein shakes

Hey rodeo, You can do the bullets, but about 2/3 of it will be wasted. We can only absorb about (varying opinions here) 32-36 grams of protein an hour. Best to save half for later in the day. Keep it chilled though, bacteria LOVES protein so you don't want unwanted visitors joining in the party.

There is probably a good chance I won't be able to make it to this meeting.  I am leaving Saturday morning for San Diego and won't be back till the 11th, and I believe my sister has to work the 13th and 14th.  And she works 12 hours (7am - 7pm) so if she does work, I won't go but if she doesn't she may not want to drive to Little Rock after driving from California to Arkansas. So, we'll have to see, but I would love to be able to spend Valentine's with you all.  Maybe I can find someone nearby to catch a ride with.

I am going to try to be there like always.  This month is a bit weird because my husband is working a really freaky schedule.  So I'll probably have to bring my daughter again.  But I'm planning on being there!

Wendy, your daughter is always welcome, as far as I'm concerned!!  Who else would we have tally up our weight loss??? If my head clears a bit I'm going to start working on the agenda.  Portion control.  I'm also speaking to a plastic surgeon to come in March.  Didn't even try getting a speaker for a meeting on Valentine's day.
