Hi there, All doctor's requirements are slightly different, but I'll list the soft diet from the Baptist Hospital Guide to Eating After Gastric Bypass Surgery. NF (non fat) cottage cheese, NF SF (sugar free) yogurt, NF LF cheeses, cooked cereals made with skim milk such as oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits....not the flavored kind unless they are SF. Smooth peanut putter, LF soups made with skim milk, whole wheat crackers or melba toast, potatoes baked or boiled without skin, whole wheat pasta, macaroni and cheese-homemade with fat free cheese and skim milk, brown or wild rice, canned fruit-no sugar added, mashed bananas, melons, applesauce or apples without peel, pears-no peel, peaches-no peal, canned vegetables-without seeds, spft cooked vegetables-carrots, eggplant, beets, green beans, squash and peas, poached soft cooked eggs-no hard boiled or scrambled eggs, sugar free popsicles, SF pudding made with skim milk, tuna salad, chicken or ham salad made with NF mayo, mixed to smooth texture.

I had Dr.Roller also. He said anything you can cut with a fork. I could actually eat hamburger meat and chicken. If you cook things in the crock pot and it will make it very tender. You can cut it with a fork. Also supplement with your shakes and you will do fine.
