Dr. Roller Rocks

So, yesterday my son had his surgery and let me tell you, he was up four hours after and not just up, he walked probably a half mile, going around and around the nurses station from one end of the corridor to the other.  My son weighs 400 pounds and I think is one of the largest that Dr. Roller has done and he did excellently.  He has not used his morphine pump since early this morning and tells me he only feels like he has done crunches.   For all you guys and gals who are thinking of doing the wls and can't decide and are close to NWA, go to Roller's seminars and see for yourself.  I am transferring all of my stuff to him so that he can do the rest of my follow-up care.  He is really great and not bad to look at either.   Oh and my son didn't have a drainage tube and I realize those tubes are used for a reason, but jeeze, he did so much better than I and no tube.

i have been a patient of dr roller's for almost 5 months now and the whole group rocks!! they are all really concerned and respectful to all their patients. I have never been to a drs office that felt like i was going to visit  good friends. they treat  all their patients as if they were family. i can not wait to have my sgy done, hopefully in april! dr roller does all his surgeries laproscopically and from what i have heard from other pts the scars are barely visible and the pain isn't bad at all. i can't wait.

My son's little incision are barely visible.  He nor I can believe how little pain he has had and how great he is feeling.  I will tell you that the hospital staff are great and Dr. Roller checks on his patients often during the day and even called that night to check on my son.  He makes sure the staff are well trained and do what he says.  You will see and I can't wait to hear your story too.

Jeannie, I'm so happy to hear this great news about your son. Happier yet that you're able to transfer your care somewhere closer to home. Can't wait to see you one of these days.

We are going to have to meet up and have a tater.  By March, I'll be good.  I know, way too much to do and so little time but I am thankful that this surgery has made it possible for me to go sixteen hours a day.  Can't wait to see you too.
