I'm curious...any one Gluten Free like me?

I have Gluten Intolerance & have been on a Gluten Free diet for over 3 years.  For those who don't know what that means, I can't eat wheat, barley, rye, spelt, oats, flour, food starch, baking mixes, etc. I have found Gluten Free brands of pasta, bread, & flour made from rice, potato & corn that taste ok, but as you can imagine, they don't have the fiber or the complex carbs that wheat products do.  I limit how much of these starchy products I eat. It was quite a challenge in the beginning to adjust to Gluten Free eating, but I feel like it sort of helped me get ready for WLS.  By the time I decided surgery was for me, I was already eating better & had pretty much given up on eating out because of the cross contamination issues.  So, those were habits I didn't have to break. Any other intolerances or allergies out there?  My doctor said that sometimes people develop them AFTER surgery.  Luckily I haven't had that problem.
