i was just wondering does someone have some titles they can throw my way of some great reads on bariatric weight loss?

Hi, I haven't read any books about WLS, but there is a book called Weightloss Surgery for Dummies. 
Weight 5 Years Ago (2002): 275.0  --  50.3 BMI
Pre-Consult (7/05/07): 400.12 pounds  --  73.2 BMI
Surgery Day (8/15/07): 369.8  --  67.6 BMI
Past Weight (09/30/08):  205.0  --  37.5 BMI
Current Weight (01/08/09):  190.0  --  34.7 BMI

There are two, Evelyn mentioned WLS for Dummies and there is also one titled Weight Loss Surgery, Finding the Thin Person Within You There are also a couple of great cookbooks out there for WLS patients, the one that comes to mind is Eating Well (or maybe it's great) After WLS. There are recipes for every stage and type of surgery with really good nutritional info given. If you go to Amazon.com you can put Weight Loss Surgery into the search engine and find lots of things. Probably get some used at good prices too! Enjoy, and congrats for doing your homework
