It's been 8 months since my surgery and I have hit my overall weight loss goal of 123 lbs lost! Just wanted to share the excitement with all of you who have been supportive, calming, informative, etc. etc. and to say thank you. Everyone on this board have been such a blessing.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm so very proud and happy for you! Eight months is an amazing accomplishment. Now the real work starts. Maintaining isn't as easy as I thought it would be, so if you need a hand, let me know. JoBeth is nearly impossible (truly) to reach, so I'm happy to pass on what I've learned. Do we get to see the new you at a support group meeting soon??? Please??? Great big happy hugs!

Thank you guys! It's been an amazing journey for sure. Just keep reminding me when the support group meetings are. Hopefully I'll get to one soon. My oldest son's basketball games are on Thursdays right now but there aren't too many more of those.

Susan - I do need some info on maintanence. I've lost my booklet from the seminar (and it makes me so mad because I had my measurements in there) and the information I have found online is so general. I've not been able to catch Jo Beth yet so anything you can send me will be greatly appreciated.
