Needing Info for the Fort Smith Area

hi there and I am new to this stuff and have tons of questions...I need to find a doctor that will refer me to a surgeon for RNY...I meet insurance guidelines I think...can someone plz help me!!

Welcome, I just wanted to let you know there is a Dr. in Springdale, Dr. Roller, and he is having a free seminar in Fort Smith on 1/31/08 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at 6:30. Hi, I also live in Fort SMith. I had surgery with Dr. Roller in Nov 07.  I went to my doctor (Dr. Dillard) told her what I wanted and who I was going to have do it. Dr. Rollers office faxed a template to her. She filled it in and faxed it back to them. I thought it would take a while to get everything going. But it really didn't. Dr. Rollers staff is ecellent. They know what insurance companies want and they handle all of it for you. They just tell you what to get and send it or take it to their office.  I would also be glad to help you in any way possible. I will be at the seminar they are having on there 31st.  Message me. i too, am dr rollers pt.. i love the staff.. for your first office visit all you will need will be ur letter of support from ur referring dr, your application fee, and to have attended one of his seminars. after the eval u will prob have to collect a documented weight for the last 5 years.. just one office visit note from one of ur drs.. and depending on ur ins requirements.. but once u are registered to dr rollers system, the office staff will call ur ins company  and see what all is required to be approved. they will contact u and get  u started before ur appt even.. they have helped me sooo much. u can pm me with any questions that u have.. hope u get to attend the seminar on the 31st. or he has them every other friday in springdale in his office from 3-4:30 pm. his office number is 479-757-3174 if u have any questions that none of us can answer.
