Northwest Arkansas Support Group

Hi everyone, I just got a notice from my surgeon, Dr. Josh Roller, and there is a support group this month in Fayetteville on 1/22/08. They told me that anyone can come, you don't have to be a patient with them yet. I think this is the only Dr. in Northwest Arkansas that does Bariatric Surgery and if any of you want to go, just call their office...479-757-3174... I hope to see you all there.

i too, got one of them and hear that he will be giving a free seminar in fort smith arkansas at the holiday inn convention center on 1-31-7 at 6:30- i plan on attending that one as well.

The one in Fort Smith on the 31st is this a support group meeting or a seminar for the surgery/ I had my surgery with Dr. Roller in Nov. I would love to go to a support group meeting but since I live in Fort Smith that it is a bit far for me to go.

Everyone is welcome at our support group in Fort Smith no matter where they had surgery also.  It is in the waiting room at Cooper Clinic surgery. We have Dr. Coleman and Dr. Eckes in Fort Smith who do bariatric surgery. AmyBeth

This may sound a little strange as I don't live in AR, but do visit there quite frequently... What I do in my hometown is we started our own support group and meet for breakfast or dinner monthly.  It allows us to share our journey and make some great friends along the way. If you have something like that in the Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville area, please let me know.  I'm up there every other week for business and would love to meet folks in the local area. Thanks!
