update on me

Well, the doc says he doesn't think there is an infection in my foot, but he still is ordering an MRI with contrast to rule out an infection in the bone itself. He took this big A** needle and stuck it into my foot by about 2 inches to see if there was any infectious goo in there. I'm sure they could have heard me scream waaaaaaaaaaaay out in the hallway!  Nothing to numb it before.  So, I have to keep taking the antibiotics, see him again on Monday, and then have the MRI on Wed of next week.  Thanks for your prayers and good wishes....they are greatly appreciated Hugs

Ouch....how painful!  I think some docs get their kicks that way. lol keep us posted. I want to know what the MRI says.. hugs and take care..

You are much braver than I am.  I would not have let them stick that needle anywhere near my foot without some kind of numbing agent or valium LOL I am glad that he doesn't think it is infected.  Please let me know what the MRI says. 

I don't know, brave or STUPID!!!!!     It's a wonder the waiting room didn't clear out from people hearing me scream. No kidding! Thanks for your concern, I will let you know what the MRI says. Have a tasty Thanksgiving
