hello, I am in need of help!! I am on workmans comp and due to an injury and use of steriods in the last year have gained 160 lbs. . My ortho surg. has sent a letter to my workmans comp adjuster stating my weight gain is 2ndary injury and that I needed weight loss surg. due to other issues that are now affecting me. does anyone know of a surg that will accept workmans comp. My adjuster said for me to find one and they will send me!! help  whitney

Hi Whitney, Dr's Baker and Gibbs are two of the doctors here in Little Rock that do WLS. My suggestion is that you call both of their offices and ask the NURSE...don't ask the receptionist. You want to speak to someone who will understand this is related to your work comp injury. Good luck to you, keep us posted!
