Roll Call... Who's here and what cha doin?????

Believe it or not I'm here! It's been so long since I've posted I almost had forgotten my log in password - what a tragedy. I'm working, feeling a bit under the weather but otherwise doing good. I'm looking foward to the next few weeks and then some time off.

How exciting - a plastic surgeon! I'm not quite there yet but the thought comes across my mind more and more these days. I've lost 101 - or at least the last time I weighed it was 101.

Now Angie T, there will be NO forgetting the OH password for you, my dear!  Just goes to show you you have to stop by more often. Congratulations on making the Century Club!!  Only 25 lbs to go.....maybe by the New Year??? What an amazing way to start 2008.  I wasn't too impressed by this Dr I saw today.  Just didn't get that "warm fuzzy" feeling like we connected at all. First of all, his office is OVER the top gaudy, and he has a portrait of himself in the waiting room. Then, there is no place for me to hang my clothes so I had to lay them on the floor....tacky, tacky.  He comes in wearing a blue pinned striped suit with a white shirt, light blue polka dot tie and these French knot cuff links.  Oh yeah, the best part? He had a blue tooth stuck in his ear!!!!  I must admit I really didn't listen to carefully to what he had to say, just wasn't impressed. So....Dec 6th I see someone else.  I'm in no hurry, so I'll just keep looking. Hope to see more of you when the vacation comes! Take care until then

Sorry things didn't go better Susan. Dr. Love spoke at the WLS support group meeting I went to in June.  He seemed nice. I plan on keeping him in mind!

Hijack Hey Susan, What do you know about Dr. Love a plastic surgeon in LR?  Friend in Ozark used him for  her tummy tuck 3 weeks ago.  WOW he did a great job from what i could see, and according to her the cost is very reasonable with him.  Your advise please!!!! Thanks AmyBeth

Hi AmyBeth, I know there are two Drs Love, they are brothers and one is great, the other (reportedly) not so good.  I have an appointment the beginning of December with the good one.  Can you find out which brother did your friend's TT? Reasonable cost is good....good AND reasonable is the best!

I'm here. Busy, busy around here. I had my one year old grandaughter all last week. Didn't get anything done around here. So I'm playing catch up today on laundry and getting the house straightened up. Having company for Thanksgiving so I've got some house cleaning to do.  But I did so enjoy having her here last week. I was so tired by the end of the week. Now I know why having kids is for the young....lol. Shopping for the house AND going to the plastic surgeon too! What a fun day you have planned. Hello to everyone!! I'm here too!! Seems like we are all rather busy and I can only imagine that we will get busier with every passing day now that the holidays are rapidly approaching. I am doing great!! I have lost around 70lbs. since I got Lap-Band in June. Everything is going great and working like it should so I am very excited. I am teaching 2ng grade so we don't get Veteran's Day off.....at least not at my school. I'm just working and exercising!!! That's about it on my end. Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday!!    Karen

Don't you just hate to get out of your routine???  Even if it is for an adorable grand baby,  it just seems to mess up the whole alignment of the planets! We cleaned really well before my MIL came last week, so it's just straightening up now before the big Turkey Day. Are you having a big crowd in?  I'm still not sure exactly what we're doing for dinner, but the family is going to serve the homeless at Friendly Chapel on Thanksgiving morning.  We've never done it before, but now that food isn't my sole reason for being, it's nice to have other things to do. Take care and don't work too hard....just hard enough
