dietician

can anyone tell me if medicare requires a dietician appt.  and when do i get that done.  before the seminar or just before sugery sometime.  im aiming for surgery around the first of the year with dr. gibbs for a lap band.  if anyone knows what else meicare requies please let me know.  i actually have humana gold, which is a medicare replacement.  also, i have an appt. with dr. spray, a psychologist in fort smith.  i hope he works and they dont require a psychiatrist.  thank you all  brenda from alma

Hey Brenda, I don't know if it's a medicare requirement, but if you use Dr Gibbs he will have you see JoBeth the nutritionist at Baptist before your surgery. Take care
