Thanks
I am new to the site but have meet some of you at last month support group meeting. I wanted to say Thank you to everyone that post on this site. I had my surgery on Aug 20th and have lost 40 pounds, but for the last 2 weeks I had not lost any weight. So as a newbie what did I do but start looking through postings. There were great advice and I realized that I was not getting enough protein in and needed to try to increase my liquid. Without ya'll I could see myself going down the same road of not knowing what was causing me to not lose weight. I also took the advice of moving the scales out of the house. I moved them to our horse barn and once a week I will go out there to weigh. I was catching myself weighing almost everyday. I hope to find some great new friends here and look forward to seeing everyone at this month's open house. Again many Thanks! You have all be angel. Becky J
Susan
Becky,
Im with Susan when I say congrats on the weight loss. Mine was alot at first, then some weeks, no pounds, but always inches. Please do make yourself known Thusday, Susan and I have been asked to speak. I feel so unworthy but am so honored to be doing so. We love to see new faces, and have new friends, so give us a big yell. You can always find Sus and I b/c we have a hard time behaving, but I suppose we will have to since the docs and stuff will be there this time. Dr. Baker knows me well, and just smiles and shakes his head at me. Good luck on the journey, and if you have any questions, dont be afraid to ask. If we dont know, we'll tell ya, but we will also offer our humbe opinions as well. Come back and see us soon.
Hugs,
Rhonda D.
