It has been 6 months today and WOW, what an experience! First and foremost, YES, I would definately do it all over again!  I have lost a total of 86 Lbs in 6 months.......that's not a record or anything BUT, who in their right mind would not like to loose 86 lbs in 6 months? Dr. Gibbs is very pleased with my progress and told me that I would loose alot more in the next 8 months! He said my skin was remarkably tone and firm, and I should have no problem with sagging skin. He could tell I had been working out. My labs were all ok except my Vitimin D was very low, for that I got a 6 week script and it should be all good after that.  Doc said the reason I burp all the time is I am eating and drinking to fast! For the 1st time in my life my cholesterol was under 200 (it is normally around 285), now that was a "WOW MOMENT". For the record, I have been sick 2 times. Once on ice cream....(thouhgt I would die!) and  the second time on the ribs off of a prime rib, (NEVER AGAIN). I take my vitimins everyday and struggle with my protein (Bullets help). I exercise as much as my schedule will alow me to, which is not  quite enough. I get my liquids in almost everyday, I am not to fond of meat anymore, I tend to favor soft foods and do not like anything sweet except I still eat a sugar free skinny cow every now and then.  My hair is falling out but OH WELL, I would rather be skinny and bald than fat and have hair! I am taking biotin everyday and have been since before surgery, don't know if it helps but I do know it does not hurt! I could NOT have done any of this without all of you encouraging me and picking me up when I got down. I can only hope someday, somehow, I can help someone the way you guys have helped me. The encouragement is overwhelming and I thank each one of you. I pray that the next 6 months will be as easy as the first 6 months have been.  Huggs, Rhonda T

Rhonda, Hey girl.  So great to hear the good news.  Im so excited for you.  Glad all of your labs are good, I go next week to find out about mine, Im off schedule a bit since I was so sick and in the hospital in May, it threw all of my other appointments off a bit.  I see Dr. Baker on the 11th, so we will see what mine are.   Congrats on the skin, Im dealing with that, but hey, will gladly deal with loose skin and be thin than tight skin cuz Im fat.  The good news I have for you is that my hair quit falling out as bad at about 71/2 months, so there is hope.  For a while, I thought, Dear God, Im gonna lose every hair on my head, and now I see new little short hairs every day!!!! I hope you can make the support group/open house next week.  Im off to clean house and work on bedroom construction. Hugs, Rhonda D. 107 pounds gone forever!!!!
