You can just IMAGINE the feeling and look on my face when I received my Insurance EOB stating that my "minimum responsibility" was over $25,000.00. OMG! After a few phone calls to Dr. Baker's office and Baptist...Becky from Dr. Baker's office got things handled.  For anyone contemplating using Dr. Baker, his office staff and nurse are WONDERFUL! WOW...what a day!

You got to be careful with health insurance companies, they are so picky and want every t crossed and every i dotted before they will pay for anything, LOL So I am guessing by your post that it was taken care of?  I have not received my eob from medicare yet.  I did get the one for what Dr. Baker charged for the surgery (just the procedure) and also for the drain tube procedure.  I think he charged for the bypass just under $6,000 (like 5900) and for the tube he charged like $908 I can't wait to see what Baptist charged.  It will be much more, I am sure.

Yes, thank goodness! I thought I would die from Cardiac Arrest! My heart literally fell out. Becky took care of it. I will only owe the hospital $5,000 something....MUCH better than my EOB showed!
