I know there is a clothing exchange forum, but I thought I'd post here first to see if any fellow Arkansans need some clothes. I don't have a lot--about 4 pairs of pants, a skirt, and a dress.  They are either size 20s, or 18/20s.  I'm losing slowly but surely, and these things are just not working for me anymore.  I am wearing mostly 16s, but I'm going to keep a few more 18s around until they are literally falling off my body too. Oh, I also have one pair of pajamas that is a size 28.  Never worn.  I have an aunt that bought me those for Christmas last year.  She guessed on the size, and was way off.  But oh well.  I kept them around--not sure why. So if you want me to send you some clothes, let me know, and I'll ship them over to you.  You can wear them on your Journey Downward, so you aren't having to spend money on those in-between sizes!

Hi Casey,  If no one else wants them I would be happy to take them. I am not in that size yet, but hopefully I will be there pretty soon. Let me know and I will get you the money for shipping. I never thought about doing this before, but all the clothes I have are completely worn out, I doubt if anyone would want them. Thanks
GOD BLESS   Cynthia

Exchanging clothes is such a wonderful thing.  I have used the Clothing Exchange here on OH a few times.  A lady in San Diego had the lapband and was wearing my size (4x sz32), and now she has lost that weight, and she made a post on the Clothing Exchange but it was for pick-up only, well I was in luck, because I have lots of family in San Diego, so my Dad went last weekend and picked up the clothes from the lady (which I enjoyed talking to her on the phone when we arranged for my Dad to pick up).  The neatest part, my Dad picked up 6 large black trash bags full of clothes and some shoes in my size as well, and a lot of the clothes still have price tags on them.  So now I am waiting on the clothes to get here, and I am so glad that this person was so generous to donate them to the Clothing Exchange.  I will get to make someone else happy when I can't wear them and donate to the Clothing Exchange. We should have our own Clothing Exchange at the support group meetings every month.
