Question About Medications

Last night I took  my sleeping pill (Trazodone), and I had not been taking it since surgery because I haven't really been wanting to mess with any of me medicines.  Anyhow, it usually takes over an hour, sometimes two, before it kicks in and I am ready for sleep.  Well last night when I took it, like 20 minutes later I could not even hold my head up and had to stumble to my couch where I sleep every night.  That is the first time it ever kicked in so quickly.  Will all my medicines work quicker now too?  Anyone else have their medicines working faster since their surgery?

Girl....I take it too and I break mine in 3rds because it kicks my butt. I am not sure if all meds work quicker but I know for a fact Trazadone does....I have been on it off and on since 2001 when I had surgery. I also know that that occasional alcoholic beverage works faster and requires less.....thank goodness I am not a drinker...only on rare occassions. I take xanax for panic attacks and I lowered my dose cause it knocked me out.....

I took it again last night, and not 10 minutes later I was struggling to keep my head up.  I am just not going to take it anymore.  Did you have any troubles with restless legs when you took it?  Both nights I struggled with horrible restless legs. 

I know all of my med**** me faster now, after surgery. I make sure I take them as I get into bed because it hits me within 10-20 minutes.
