Peg Tube Is Bothering Me and Questions

Hey, last night and today my peg tube has been bothering me.  I am sure it is from the healing process.  It feels tight now, and I can see that the hole around it has healed up and the tube is pretty snug against my skin.  I still have 6 days until my first post-op appt with Dr. Baker, and he will take my tube out and also my stitches.  I am a little bit scared, afterall I was asleep when they were put in, LOL.  What was it like for everyone when they had their tube and stitches out?  What did it feel like?  How will the surgeon close up the hole where the tube is? Did it hurt?  Also my incision has been itching (which I know to be a good sign of healing and no infection) and what sucks is that it itches under my skin and I CANT SCRATCH IT!!  I told my mom it must be what its like to have a cast and get an itch and you cant scratch it.

it is the stitch at the top that is removed...it was a quick pain the tube didnt hurt at all...I didnt even know he took it out...we were talking and it was out. he did not close the hole...it healed in about a week. and I itched also! but Im better now! has it been almost a month already? do you have any idea how much you have lost yet? are you still walking? nutti

 

I have lost almost 60lbs (30 before surgery and almost 30 since).  I haven't been walking as much as I should because I don't want to go outside, so I walk my hallway but not much.  I do walk around the house, like I will get up and walk around and then sit back down.  But I have my exercise videos as well. I will have my sis take a pic of me at Dr Bakers as he is pulling my stitch out (for my scrapbook) I hope he won't mind, LOL  I want to remember that day.
