OMG Guess What? You'll Never Guess What Happened To Me???

I CAME HOME!! Yay, yes I got to come home, and have been home for about an hour and half. Stopped at sonic and got some ice chips, and filled up my new super cool water bottle (thanks Susan, it is my new best friend) and sipped sipped sipped on my way home. I won't go into details right now because I just want to lay down for a short nap, but I promise I will post all about my 3 days, plus I had my cellphone with me, so I took pics of everything, including my incision, tubes, IV's you name it, so I will post some of those on my profile tomorrow. In short though, I will say that Dr. Baker did NOT take my gallbladder, my incision is only about 4 inches (its small because the gallbladder stayed). Most of you know, but for those who don't, I had open RNY (gastric bypass) Wednesday morning. My surgery was at about 12:30, last thing I remember was scooting onto a small cold bed thing that had arms that came out of it for my arms and a mask being put on and being told to breathe in and out, and the guy telling me I will smell something sweet like margaritas, and then next thing I know I open my eyes, Dr Baker is sitting in a chair with writing in a chart and a nurse is saying, Breathe honey, you got to breathe. Evelyn breathe, and it was hard for about a minute and I started whispering that I hurt oh what happened was I dying I hurt. That was around 4:30pm or so. So I will go into great detail tomorrow or so on my blog for those who want to know every minute of it (I know I wanted to know everything from other peoples surgeries before mine) and will post some pics and all that good stuff. Thanks for all the pre-op support, I am finally on the losing side, and I look forward to all the post-op support.
