I meet DR BAKER tomorrow!

Any advice?  Any thoughts?

The only advice I can think of, would be the advice given to me...Be Honest (oh and wear clean socks). When I went for my H&P I expected I would go in, get weighed, picture taken and then the Dr would see me for a minute and that would be it.  But they do more, they also measure your waist and hips.  When I met Dr Baker, they had me take everything but my socks and panties off and put on an open in front gown (dont worry its big enough you can stay covered until he comes in) and he looked at my legs and my stomach, told me no more mosquito bites.  I felt a little weird talking to him half naked but hey he is gonna see all of that anyway when you have surgery, LOL Just be relaxed and listen to everything he says, and let us all know how it went when you get back home.

You'll do fine.  They'll also check your height, weight, and go over the info you provided on Patient Hub.  Plus, you'll get your HMR shakes.  I live 2 hrs away, so I got to do my Pre-Admit at the hospital while I was up there.  That consisted of an EKG, blood work, getting my lung exerciser (can't remember the official name for it) and going over my health history again. I did meet him on Thursday.  I LOVED HIM!  I got nervous and made jokes and didn't get his jokes, so I think he might have thought I was an idiot - but it was good. They submitted papers to my insurance for approval that same day so I hope to be getting my approval this week.   WOO HOO!!!!!!!!
