Still waiting......

Well, Here I sit, home from Little Rock yet one more time.  The EGD showed nothing, no blockage, no nothing, so Dr. Nutt consulted w/Dr. Baker (per our request) and he recommended a lower abdominal X-Ray series w/barium contrast.  So they shuffled me off to radiology, did the tests, promised me results this afternoon and sent me on my merry way back home.   Got home, its 4:10 and I called Dr. Nutt's office, and was told they never get results the same day, to call back Monday.  I put the phone down, cried, and then called Dr. Bakers office.  I got his voice mail, told him I was still in major pain, still cant eat, cant drink, and am afraid Im gonna dehydrate.  So now I am waiting on a call from him to tell me what to do.  We are so tired of treking to Little Rock, never mind the fact that its expensive, but something has got to give.  Begged to be admitted this morning, until we got some results, but they couldnt do that.  Soooooooo......yet one more time, I have no news to report but will let you know something as soon as I know something.  Im headed to lay down, and hopefully get some rest, gonna just take 1/2 a pain pill and hope I sleep till morning.
