seminar

hey all, well i finally got my medicare and am scheduled for the seminar with dr. baker on the 16 of july.  does anyone know if i have to go to a support group also for medicare to pay of just the seminar.? anyways good luck to you all and have a great day. thanks..                                                                                        tina

Tina on Doctor Baker's website you will find a list of required steps and yes a support group is one of them....and it isnt just so medicare will pay but the Doctor will not do the surgery untill you have gone to at least one. so print out those steps and get-r-done! I took a copy to my PCP and he helped me get all of my stuff done pretty quick. good luck and keep us informed! nutti

Congrats on medicare, they paid for all of my surgery except $62, and the cost of my shakes.  Small price to pay to get my life back.   Dr. Baker is the best in my opinion, and at this time, the only one that accepts medicare.  Hes a good man, cares about his patients, and will help you all he can.  The seminar will be great info, and then he will require you to also attend a support group meeting prior to surgery, which is a great place to be.  We have a great group of people that attend monthly.  So come on out, join us, introduce yourself to us, and come back for any questions.
