Shake shake shake, shake shake shake, your booty
Well it is after midnight, technically 5 more days till I start my 4 weeks of pre-op shakes, yummy.
I wish I could start them now. I told my roomie, that he had 2 choices, either I could still cook dinner, but he would have to buy the small packages of meats or he could eat on his own (tv dinner or fast food or whatever he wants) but that I wasn't eating, so he could have it his way.
Now that I think about it, why should I have to slave over washing dishes, and cleaning kitchen and cooking dinner, if I can't enjoy it *hands on hips* Oh well , he would do it for me if it was him going on the "shakes", LOL.
It's almost time for me to restock on bottled water, and I think I will see if I can get it in 8oz bottles instead of the normal 16oz bottles. I think 8oz bottles will help me keep track of drinking 64oz of water daily.
Well thought I would make a post, since I haven't said much this week.
Look forward to some "I hate these shakes/No more shakes" posts in the next few weeks, LOL.

ooooo the count down!
good luck on the 4 week liquid diet!
the only issue I had with them is that its all sweet!
and I am not a sweet eater. so that was hard. I did break it up with chicken and beef broth
dont forget to buy yourself fresh fruits to mix with and sf puddings and jellos.
it does help to break up the monotiny of "shakes"
good luck on this part of your journey! and walk!
Ill be thinking of you!

Nutti, can I drink broths as part of my 64oz of water?? If so that would be great! I know on my day before surgery and I go on all clear liquids I can have broths, yum yum.
I will definitly spend this week on getting sf puddings, and I already have tons of sf jello that I stockpiled over the last year. How would I mix the sf jello with my shake? Would I make the jeelo first them mix it or just put some of the jello powder into the blender?
Yesterday I got the bright idea to walk to the library and attempt to walk around the park, and halfway around I wanted to die, my knees still hurt and my ankle feel like its bone against bone when I walk, guess I overdid it. I went into the library and sat down then called for a ride, LOL.
I will stick to walking up and down my hallways. I posted some pics on my prof of the park and my hallway, LOL

yes I used the broth twords the 64 oz of water/fluids needed....but dont get carried away with them.
the shakes are about 800/900 calories total a day...if you do to much broth you can over do the calories.
add the pudding and jello powder directly into the shake...dont need much to get the flavor so have a baggie for the leftover. dont forget sf popsicles. they are GOOD
and good for after also.
I know your going to do well because you want it so much!
you go girl!
