Hey gang, Sorry I have been a little absent, but I have developed an awful case of GOUT!!!  Hurts like heck, got it in the big toe and the knee on the left leg.   Anyone ever have this post op??  Im almost 5 months out, will be Thursday, and I have not had any major trouble, but this is BAD!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend, ours was low profile, I had planned on riding horses, but cant get up there with the leg in such pain.  Went to a friends yesterday, went swimming and then crawled in the hot tub.  Was great, hated to get outta there.  Got up this morning, and bam, there was the gout again. I hope everyone has a great week, give me a yell!!

Love ya all,

Rhonda

Well, I have survived.  The pain is pushed aside by steroids and high doses of aleve.  I was able to ride today, for about 2 hours.  I will post some pics as soon as I get my camera cord back from our church.

It felt good to be on them again, rode my spotted horse today for the first time ever.  My nephew has been riding him, and today I rode him.  He is such a great animal, I wish everyone could feel the freedom that riding a horse gives you.  I rode my big black stud horse, and he was the gentle giant he always is, and I plan on showing him Saturday.  I'll be sure and let everyone know how that goes, kinda nervous, but hey, why have them if we cant enjoy them.   Hope all has a great rest of the week.  More from me tomorrow!!!
