sorry about being quiet, rough week. My son left on Friday to spend the summer with his dad...11 hours away. It is hard to let him go but I manage.

He did pass to 9th grade. Dr wants him off his ADHD meds for the summer as he has not yet weighed in at 70 pounds. My daughter is still taking ACT prep classes through mid July. She is wanting to go to Ole Miss. I cant afford that. I dont know what I will do. Her dad has washed his hands of her. My sons dad is the only dad she knows. Got the price list for Senior pics.....800.00 for the advertised package. Guess I better get another job. My weight is at 158. My pinched nerve is killing me and my sinuses are all jacked up. I have to feel better as Friday night I have a date with Keith Urban at the Fed Ex forum in Memphis. I have this hot looking shirt that shows of my new girls. My daughter calls it a hooker shirt.....she is jealous. So thats my story. I am not very talkative.  Hope everyone has a good day tammy

Boy, I tell everyone who has a kid going into their senior year to just get a checkbook out and sign a bunch of blank checks!  Amazing how much money you can spend. I did find that after buying one of the smaller picture packages that I still, to this day, have a ton of them left over. I'd just buy the bare minimum...1 8x10 and a bunch of wallet sizes. She's going to want to give those out to friends, and you'll probably want some to add to graduation announcements, but that was about it for us. Also, since you're a single mom, she's most likely going to qualify for grants and such. Another option: have her get her general ed courses here in AR where she doesn't have to pay out of state tuition, then transfer to where ever she wants to finish her degree for those classes. AR is sooooo inexpensive!! One full  year at UALR was still about half of what we would have paid for a semester in San Diego. Please take care of that back, you gotta be able to look good for your date! hugs

Hey - I've been wondering about you! Glad to see your still dancing around on here. I'm glad to hear your son passed - I still haven't gotten my oldest son's report card but I'm pretty sure he was ok. English was the only thing I was worried about.

Like Susan said - you'll be surprised how much grants will cover. As soon as you get your taxes done next year, she can go ahead and complete the FASFA and get that under way. Even if she changes her mind and goes somewhere closer - she'll need to have that completed.

I'm sorry your back isn't getting any better. Maybe your date with Keith will make something snap back into place. Take care and keep us posted. AT
