I have my surgery scheduled....YEAAAAAA!

 WOW! What a diffrence a week makes after all that time waiting. In the last week God has given me so many blessing. Monday Kim from Dr. Gibbs office called and said my insurance agreed to pay $4000. of my surgery. My husbands company said they would pick up the $4,500. deductable. So thats $8,500. I dont have to pay of it. Tuesday my boss calls me at my desk and tells me I'm getting a pay raise. It liked a few cents of being a dollar more per hour WoooHooo. Wensday Carrie called and said I'm all set for surgery I'll see Dr. Gibbs Thursday Aug 2nd. and have surgery 7:30 Monday August 6th. . Then today (Thursday) I get approved for my loan to pay for the balance. I am so excited.  I just wanted to share with all my new OH friends. I know you guys know what it like to have "the wait". Thanks for all the support and help you have given me. I look forward to reading the post here everyday. It gives me encouragement to hear how well all of you are doing.  If anything can testify to the power of prayer my  week can.  God is Awsome! Tammie

Tammy, I'm so, so, so happy for you!  So many great things in one week, you must be Dr Gibbs was my surgeon and I know you'll do very well. I've gotten off all my medications and found out today that unless the re-test sleep study I have to do fails, I will officially be off my CPAP machine. My goal was to be healthier and I've done it. People are starting to say I've lost too much, so maybe that magic 100lbs isn't in the cards for me. I've lost 97, and we'll see how this maintenance thing goes. Anyway, this time between now and your surgery will be the longest wait of your life, but we'll be here to get you through it. At least Gibbs doesn't make you do a liquid diet!!!! Now THERE'S a blessing! Hugs

YEAH! I'm so excited for you! It's amazing when things just fall into place - but it sounds like you've had one GOOD week! You are going to do great and you will have plenty of time to stock up on the things you will want available when you get home.
