Surgery is tomorrow morning at 1030 at Baptist with Dr. Gibbs.  I'm pumped, packed, and a little nervous!  Send me your good thoughts today as I'm on all clear liquids!  (I think I'm too nervous to eat anyway!) Casey

I'm so excited for you!  You'll be fine, you're in good hands with Dr. Gibbs.  Try to get some sleep tonight and it will be over before you know it...then you can join us on this loser's bench! I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. GOOD LUCK

Hey Casey! Good luck girl! You will do fine. I was in the same boat as you about 2 weeks ago. I was a bundle of nerves as I'm sure you are too. It will all be over so quickly and you probably won't remember much. You will be sore for a while but it passes fast. Remember to take it easy after surgery. Take advantage of letting other people wait on you for a change!! I will be thinking about you. If you need anything or have any questions, don't hesitate to message me and I will help any way that I can! Take care of yourself!   Karen

How exciting! I still remember the nervous energy and the checking and double checking to make sure I had everything I thought I would need.

You are in the best of care with Dr. Gibbs - maybe ellentxx will be in your surgery. She is only a couple weeks out from her own bypass! Anyway, just focus on the positive side of things and you'll do great. Get up and get walking and sip, sip, sip then you'll be back home! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. AT

Your going to do great.  Dr. Gibbs knows what he is doing. Just remember to get up and walk as soon as possible. I walked about three hours after my surgery because I had to go potty.  They wanted to bring me a bed pan and I said no I will walk.  I was a little light headed but did fine. You are going to be on the losers bench and it feels great.  Good luck and let us know how you are doing. Terri
