Hey gang, Lots to do on the old day off today.  Went to see the ankle doc, two more weeks in the boot and crutches, but I did get to go be fitted for my permanent brace. At least the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train, this nightmare will be over soon. Didn't feel much like eating anything today, nothing sounds good, so here goes: Bkfst           1/4 baked potato w/ turkey chili and cheese (left overs)               4 grms Lunch         Atkins protein bar                                                                               11 grms Dinner         Smart Ones salsbury steak dinner                                                 20 Fuzzy navel protein drink this morning                                                                 35 SF FF latte made with calorie countdown milk                                                   12 Total;                Claories 803              protein    81

Hey everybody!! I did so much better today. I have actually felt like eating a little more today...i do stress "LITTLE" more. Also, I took the steri strips off of my four incisions today. It doesn't look as bad as I thought that it would. Anyway....here's my dining pleasures for the day.....

Breakfas****er

Snack- SF cherry popsicle/water

Lunch- 1/2 of a container of SF vanilla pudding/water

Snack- SF orange popsicle/water

Dinner- cream of broccoli and cheese soup (blenderized)- about 6 teaspoons                SF strawberry jello- about 4 bites or so                 water   Karen

I spent the day painting my bedroom with hubby and moving all the furniture around, I hadn't realized until now that I did all of that and never, not once, got out of breath...that wouldn't have happened a few months ago.  I was actually able to keep up with hubby,  YEA! Here's my day: B -- Slim Fast Low Carb chocolate shake (I think I'm addicted to these) -- 20g S -- nada L -- Atkins protein bar (chocolate chip cookie dough) -- 14g S -- nada D -- 2 scrawny little pieces of pizza, thin crust, not greasy -- 15g

8 oz. calorie countdown chocolate milk before bed -- 8g

1/2 protein bullet (fruit punch) -- 21g

Total:  784 calories, 78g, 71oz. fluids

Not a bad day, in general.  The pizza upped my fat intake a little more than I'd like, but I can live with it for one day.  I burned well over 1300 calories from all the painting and moving I did today, according to fitday, so I guess I can afford it today.

Good Job!! It's hard to realize just how bad off we were before surgery until you're able to do what you did yesterday. Bet the new room looks great. Sorry we missed you last night. It was fun seeing real faces for once. Keep up the good work

I didn't feel much like eating yesterday. Nothing tasted right and I think I wasn't feeling completely up to par.

Thursday was a busy day. Sorry I missed the meeting (family emergency came up). Maybe next month! Breakfast: oatmeal w/ claorie countdown milk  7 tsp 1 cup decaf coffee 1 vinti SF NF Cinnimon dolce lattee (W/ whip...oooops) Snack:1 slice american cheess              1/2 slice deli ham 98% FF 16oz water, 1 crsytal light, 16 oz decaf tea, 16oz water Lunch:4 bites cream potatoes             4 bites pinto beans             3 bites grilled chicken w/ monterey cheese and mushrooms 1sf fudge pop Dinner:             Same as lunch Could have gotten more liquids............that is my weak point. I will keep working on it. ~ ~ ~ ~ **** I have not failed until I quit! *****   ~ ~ ~ ~
