Thursday meeting

Hey Gang we want everyone that can to come to the support meeting at Baptist on Thursday night. It starts at 6:00 and I hear from a good source that JoBeth {Dr. Gibbs dietician} is gona be a guess speaker. Let us know if you can make it cause we are planning on getting together  somewhere before hand (any suggestions on where are welcome). Some that have been suggested are Red Lobster, hospital caffateria, Starbusks at the hospital. Come on gang let's do this..can't wait to see all of you. Johnnie

Ok, here is my opinion!!!  For what its worth, I would suggest meeting in the caferteria at Baptist around 5:15 or so.  My reason for this is, some folks may not know where Red Lobster is, and our meeting is in Gilbreath 22, right behind the cafeteria.  I try to always get a glass of tea there before our meetings, and we will be close to the meeting room that way.  That is just my suggestion, and I have also spoken to one other member of our group, and that was her thoughts as well.   But Im easy, so just let me know what and where!! I'm all for the cafeteria.....cheap and easy. You all know that's me....cheap and easy And Yes....JoBeth herself told me she's the speaker.  So???? 5:15 in the cafeteria?

That sounds great - I will plan to be there if possible. I'm not sure where the cafeteria is but I'm sure I can find it. I'm bringing a couple of folks with me so if we can get off early enough we'll be there to see you guys before the meeting. I'm so looking forward to meeting you guys in person. See ya Thursday! AT

Hey Guys, I'm all for the cafertria at 5:15. It is centrally located and close to the meeting room. I am excited about meeting everyone. JoBeth is great and full of information. I could not have made it without having her steer me in the right direction. I still refer to her book at least 3 times a week.  Count on me being there!  Rhonda T.

I plan to be there, although I may be a little late.  I have a 1 1/2 to 2 hr. drive to get there.  Sometimes it takes me the full 2 hrs. and sometimes I can drive it in only 1 1/2, but I'll be there regardless.  I have no clue where the cafeteria is but I'm sure I can find it.   Looking forward to meeting everyone.  Is anybody bringing their husbands?  I'm thinking about asking my husband to come with me.

Ok, let me help a few of you out, since I practically lived at Baptist in 2003.  The cafeteria is on the ground floor.  When you enter the main doors of the hospital, come thru the lobby, get on elevators and go to G. I dont remember which way to turn, I believe left, out of the elevators, and look up for directions to the cafeteria.  Hope this helps. I am bringing my husband, he loves the support group meetings, plus, we will be thrifting that day.  I also will have my nephew with me, hes fascinated with the "fat folks" as he lovingly calls us, but I tell him, we arent "fat folks", we're just a bunch of LOSERS!!!!  That makes him laugh.  Hes 14, but a good kid, and he wants to see all these folks Im always talking to. Cant wait to see you all, less than 48 hours away!!!! Rhonda
