Ok......my time has almost come. I will be having Lap-Band at 7:30 in the morning at St. Vincent's. I have to check in at 5:30 tomorrow morning so that gives me about 11 hours or so!!!! Needless to say, I am on a roller coaster of emotions right now. I am scared, excited, nervous, happy, anxious and about a million other things all at one time. At the moment, I am feeling a little panicky   so I decided to get on the board and post. It always helps to read your responses. I also rely on Susan O. to keep me calm and sane at most times. I guess what I am feeling is normal but I sure wi**** would hurry up and be over and then I will be some much happier. When the losing starts, I will probably go crazy with excitement. Can't wait for that day!! Anyway, just wanted to update. I haven't posted in a while but I have been on here faithfully every day reading your posts!!! Its so refreshing!!  Right now I am using the computer at the hotel that I am staying in. I will probably not be back on here until I get home on Saturday. I will post again then and update everyone. Thanks for the support and reassurance!!! Karen

Alright!  I understand that ball of emotion that you are feeling - it hasn't been that long since I was where you are.  I was pretty nervous but I had confidence in my surgeon and in the care I would get.  You'll do great and we will have a place for you on the loser's bench!

Best of luck to you. I would love to hear from you after your surgery as I am still waiting on insurance approval and then will hopefully be able to schedule mine soon.

Hey band buddy... you made it through the pre op diet and all the waiting and now the day is here....  Rest, heal and get ready for the best experience to come. It's a rollercoaster of ups, downs, highs and lows... but triumphs win out and its all worth getting healthier (and skinny!!) Thinking of ya! Susan
