The long and winding tale

So, I am still walking and now have added bike riding to my repertoire of exercises.  My friends and I are going to add dancing and yoga.  The yoga class is wimpy, but I need wimpy.  I can only ride my bike on flat areas, and the dancing is very slow ball room dancing.  My friend and I, she is female and so am I, but we are going to be partners.  We wanted to do belly dancing but my knees are not strong enough.  You'd be surprised how much of the belly dancing is suported by the knees.   Yesterday, hubby and I took my grandson to the park and I stood up the entire time, two hours, that we were there.  I even walked all over the place.  Plus, when we took the grand baby home, I sat in the sand pile and helped him build roads, then, gave him a bath and folded a load of clothes.  I have not had this much energy since, well, since about ten years ago.   Plus, and I do not advocate this, but yesterday, I totally forgot to eat.  I know, when in my life have I ever forgot to eat?  Never!  Anyway, we were so busy and hubby grabbed a fast food burger and I don't eat fast food so thought I'd wait until later and when later came, we took my daughter and grad baby out to a seafood/catfish place, and right before that, I was stung by a yellow jacket and am deadly allergic, so I took my little epie kit and told hubby I was too jittery to eat and was going to grab a bite when we left the valley and started back up to Fayetteville, well, I forgot.  We got home and I said, geeze, I'm weak and hubby said, you've not eaten.  So, I ate a bite of yogurt.   Ahh, this life is so great.  Oh!  I ran into my sister, and she said she saw this woman with Kenny, my hubby, and she thought, I bet Jeannie doesn't know that her hubby is out with that cool looking chick, so she came over to confront my hubby and the first thing she said, where is my sister. and I leaned forward and hubby said, here.  My sister almost had a heart attack.  First time she has seen me in about six months.  Anyway, we all had a big laugh about that.

Jeannie, it's sooo good to see you again!  How amazing it must be for you to be able to spend time with your daughter and grand baby. It's been too long coming. Pretty scary stuff with that yellow jacket, glad you had your epi pen. Forgetting to eat....I agree, not something to do often, but when you come from the "stop the car at every fast food joint" gang, it's a pretty good WOW in my book. How's the hair coming? Are you wearing those pants I gave you? Maybe you're even out of those already?  I think it's time to organize another AR get together, what do you think? MMMMMMMMMM sweet 'taters

Susan

I am so proud of you.  I would love to see what progress you have made since Susan and I saw you in Russellville. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you soon. Hugs, Terri
