Protein bullets

Does anyone else here use the New Whey Protein Bullets? I had put off ordering any thinking they would be just as nasty as all the other protein products, but I finally did get some and you know, they're not bad. They are 42g of protein per 3.1oz...I know, almost too good to be true. I drink half of one every day. I ordered the orange because that's the only flavor they had available at that time. They taste like Tang, only a little thicker and sweeter. But what I love about them is they have no aftertaste, that's what I hated about all the other protein products...aftertaste and smell. These have neither. I can drink half in two drinks, so it only takes a minute. I just wanted to put this out there for our newbies, or anybody else, who may be having trouble getting their protein. I ordered mine from www.bariatriceating.com Another little tidbit about protein that I learned from my NUT...our bodies can only absorb about 25-30g of protein at a time. So if you're drinking a 40g shake for protein, break it up in half for maximum absorption. Hope this helps somebody! Take care, Denise

Denise, I ordered a sample pack before surgery. I got the grape sample. It taste like grape kool-aid just a little bit sweeter. When I made my last order I got the fruit punch.....Now that is good! I have been unable to drink it straight. I poor 1/2 over ice and then add a little water. I am sippin' on one now. I just would not get all my protien otherwisre. I will try the orange next. And YES! I would suggest them to anyone, especially right after surgery to help with the protien intake. I ordered mine from the same place you did and got them in about 4 days. Hope this helps! Rhonda Theis

Is that something we can have like right after surgery,while we're still on the liquid only? I still feel so clueless about things. I've read everything I've gotten from Dr. Gibbs at least 5 times, but I still don't feel like I'm prepared for life after. Thanks for the info! AT

Hey guys, Is there any way to get a free sample, Im so freaking taste sensitive, especially if it is remotely sweet, it makes me sometimes. I have to be extremely careful. So if anyone knows where I can get a free sample, Id be glad to try, just hate to invest and then not be able to use them, Im thinking the fruit punch would mix well w/my sugar free koolaid.
