Moving to Hot Springs area..looking for drs.

I am almost a month out from surgery and am doing well. Today hubby came home and said we will be transferring from San Antonio to Hot Springs. Now I'm not only looking for a home (in HS area-prefer Lake Hamilton ISD), a new job (I'm a social worker with mental health and developmental delay experience, a dentist, but also a bariatric surgeon to complete follow-ups for the next year +, but also a hemotologist. I'd love to find out if y'all have some suggestions on what to do or who I should follow up with. Thanks! Christy

Hi Christy!! First of all, let me say...Welcome to Arkansas!! I think you will like the Hot Springs area. I have been there a few times and there is always lots to do. Back to your question though...there are several good bariatric surgeons in Little Rock. My surgeon is Dr. Wellborn. I have also heard the other ladies on the board speak very highly of Dr. Gibbs and Dr. Baker. (I believe those names are correct) Anyway, just check into those doctors and you should find one that will meet your needs. Good luck! Karen
