Just to say hello....

I been reading these boards for the last couple of months and finally decided it was time to jump aboard. . I have been researching WLS for some time now and have finally decided to go ahead with it. I am having RNY gastric bypass surgery on 12 Jun 2007. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I have been overweight my entire life. I almost had gastric bypass done in the early '90s but chickened out. I was not ready for it at this time. I do feel ready now. It's now or never as my joints, back, etc. are forever telling me now is the time. I will be chatting with you as I can.

Welcome! I'm still pretty new around here too but I have discovered that Susan (with the hurt ankle, aka Ilean) is awesome and there are so many on here that will encourage and advise and all the other things we need. My surgery is scheduled for June 8 so we'll be going through it together. It's good to be able to share it with you. AT
