Medicare Approved Hospitals

I got this link from the Iowa board and thought it would be helpful to all who are using Medicare to cover surgery. They require you to use only their approved Bariatric hospitals or they will not pay them. http://www.cms.hhs.gov/MedicareApprovedFacilitie/BSF/list.asp Thought this might be useful since only 1 hospital is approved in Arkansas and it is in Little Rock and is Baptist Hospital. If you are in another area of the state this will let you check all the states and you can then make a decision on your doctor since they have to be able to use these hospitals, too. Carol Braman

You can also go to the Surgical Reviews website at http://www.surgicalreview.org and click on their list of COE and they have a clickable map of the United States and you can just click on whatever state and they will tell you approved Dr's, Hospitals and Offices.
