I'm Approved!

I called the insurance company today and they said that my surgery is approved! YEAH! They faxed the info to Kay yesterday but they aren't in today so I'll wait to see what I can find out from them. Hopefully I will hear something about scheduling this week. Then there's that little issue of paying - but hey - is that really so important? I'm so excited - another step down.

Doing the happy dance for you Angie!!!! Who cares about money anyway? It's sooooo over rated! Besides, you can buy groceries for a month on what you'll save from one weeks worth of food now. DH and I figure we save about $400 a month on going out to eat and groceries. Even when you factor in my supplements, we're still waaaaay ahead. So....don't worry, be happy!!!! Hugs to ya! Susan

I told you it wouldn't be long. My insurance pays 90%. I had to pre-pay Baptist $1,000 and Dr. Gibbs, $300 (deductible) and his fee ($250.28), so good luck on what you may have to pay. You should be hearing something from Carrie tomorrow.

I am so happy for you....have you set a date yet? It will be here before you know it. If you need advice or help of any kind just let me know. I have been busy and not on here much lately but I will try harder to get on here. Terri

No date yet, but I'm hoping to hear from Carrie or Kay maybe tomorrow. I know that Kay will need to check on my benefits and get me a cost so I'm resisting the temptation to call today I'm sure I'll be asking tons of questions as it gets closer. AT
