Anybody???

does anyone know if Dr. Baker requires supervised diets prior to surgery? i dont have any supervised diets but have tried alot of over the counter stuff.

Tina, I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think it is the insurance companies *****quire the supervised diets. Most surgeons will give you a questionnaire to fill out asking what types of weight loss programs/products you've tried and your success/failure with these programs/products. I don't think any surgeons require the supervised diets. I could be wrong, hopefully if I am somebody will correct me. Good luck to you! Denise

Hi Tina, I think Denise is correct, it's the insurance company's protocol as to what "hoops" they make you jump through before approval. Now as far as a diet prior to your surgery, yes, I'm sure Baker requires a two week liquid diet before surgery. Let us know if there's anything else we can help with Susan
